Although I always seem like I talk down the GMs, I NEVER take for granted what they do. As Jeanne said, they show how much they appreciate our loyalty to the game by getting the chance to take part in events, that might not ever happen again. The reason for the GMs is to try and give us something to do while we wait for the content. I give Disney a round of applause for that, because they are always striving to give us something to do. Besides, I enjoy their random appearances, mainly because it adds more to the role-playing, "your a pirate" aspect that most of us love. It kinda gives us the feeling we actually are living the legend, you know?

The only thing I don't like about the GM events, is because its telling us we still have to wait more time for content. Sure, I hate how they always dangle the content we yearn in from of our face, but thats how business works. You promise them that something is coming, hold out on them so they stay for longer peroids, but feed them "mini-content" so they won't leave, then finally grant their wishes, and repeat. The GM's aren't just for our sake, their for Disney's sake.

Besides, if you don't want to learn about what the GMs said, and keep yourself in suspense, then theres only one thing to do. Don't read the posts! Its not fair that they should ruin the fun for those who appreciate the GMs, just because a few pirates don't enjoy the mysterious aspect that the GM's apply. Besides, all of these GM events are leading up to the story chapter. You need to have some sort of filler in between, if the story chapters are going to jump shift so quickly. We can't go directly from liberating the Black Pearl to defeating the armies of Jolly Roger, without any background information to help tell us, what the heck is going on!
