POTCO, in my opinion, is still not anywhere near a "must-play" game. However, being a former member, who left back in Spring of 08, you've definately missed ALOT. Besides my friends and my guild, I enjoy the most about the recent POTCO:
- Notoriety Level Increase
- Weapon Level Increase
- ALOT of recent GM appeareances/events.
- Huge new cave enviroments to explore.
- Lots of new and elaborate events, like the Feast, the Invasions, etc.
- All of these events seem to be following a storyline. Possible Second Story Chapter in the near future?
- All the small trivial updates that have made the game run more smoothly.
Of course, I still wait to see...
- Ship Customization
- Next Story Chapter
- Better Guild System
- New Inventory
- The Kraken (of course)
- Bigger closets
- New clothing, jewelry, tattoos, and weapons.
Obviously, we are still looking for a lot from Disney. But I simply can't complain that the current game is boring, in fact, I find it at most times quite fun and exciting! So, to answer your question Captain, I would DEFINATELY consider coming back to the game, Unlimited and all
