Chaining you reasons for bans together is fine, that's how I always remember the game being placed. When you're more just having idle conversation with each other and putting "I ban ..." before it, that's what isn't allowed. Just as an example.
This is okay.
Poster 1: I ban Poster 2 because he owns a cutlass.
Poster 2: I ban Poster 1 because I know that he does not own a cutlass, he owns a pistol.
Poster 1: I ban poster 2 since he believes that I actually own a pistol.
This is not.
Poster 1: I ban poster 2 because I'm eating.
Poster 2: I ban poster 1 because what are you eating.
Poster 1: I ban poster 2 because I am eating bread.

Now, you may ban me and carry on. ;-)
