Ben has the truth of it mates. The GMs will "knock you out" if you are causing trouble at the events.
During these events the GMs are "Role-Playing" in other words they are the playing thier pirates as if they are actually in the game. If you wish to speak with them then you should also "Role-Play" your pirate accordingly.
Second - Show respect to the GMs. Don't spam chat with the same question over and over. Don't use Caps and shout at them. Don't get into thier faces - stay back a bit and give them some room. (this lets others see them as well). Keep your weapons put away unless the GM specifically asks you to get them out.
Third understand that they are seeing a ton of chat at these events so don't get all bent out of shape if they don't say Hi or answer a question immediatly or at all. Try and catch and answer all the chat at Abassa some time and you might get an idea of what they are going thorugh. They also have a message to get out so they can't answer everyone's chat.
Fourth - The GMs are here for the event this is not a Q&A session. Screaming where is the Kraken and such is a waste of time. You have a much better chance of getting an answer if you role play the question you want to know about but don't expect non event questions to be answered. You can go to Disney's POTCO site and read up on the lore. This will help you phrase questions and get you caught up on what is goin on.
Wrong way - "When do we get the new weapons?"
Right way - "Captain Walter has the Marceline guild uncovered any more news about the weapon caches on Padres yet?" (this has a much better chance of being answered by the GMs)
If you are being disruptive, flashing your weapons around (staff and nades are very annoying) screaming at them in caps or anything else that ruins the event for others you may get sent to jail. It is sad really that some feel the need to do this kind of thing and it messes up the event for the rest of us. Not everyone enjoys GM events and that is fine - just go sailling or questing or something else instead so the rest of us can have fun too.
I hope to see you mates at the GM events this weekend.
