Some points on posting our opinions here. If disney doesn't want people to speculate negatively about how an update is going to effect them, then they shouldn't do news releases until the material is on test. It's the nature of the MMO player to wonder how things are going to effect them in game. Positvely or not.
We here at POF need to understand that. Especially when disney hasn't had the best track record and gives it's members absolutely
no offical way to communicate with them.
It's seen on the LOTRO forums all the time, but there the
devs come in and actually talk with the players, either calming fears (if an update hasn't hit the public test servers yet) or trying to explain changes. And most of the time, it helps. There are always those who will think any update wasn't enough, etc. as there are always those who think the game designers are flawless.
The fact that Disney has no way for us, the players, to communicate with them, other than fill out a comment thing and get a canned reply, is like they are saying to us "We don't want your opinion, we just want to know if it doesn't work". Well, Here, (thank you Nick) we can bounce our opinions and frustrations off each other and figure it all out together. All Civil like
