The way I see it: just be glad that its here and on the way. I'll admit, I was pretty hypocritical of how long it actually took them to get it done, but at least now I have the satisfaction of knowing its quite close. Can't always hang on past mistakes, aye?

I honestly don't care about how much I'm paying compared to other MMO's (which, btw, POTCO has one of the lowest monthly charges out there) or how late we got this content compared to others, and other stuff. As I previously stated, I'm just glad its here. This game keeps me entertained, whether through its gaming aspects or its social ones. After all, MMO's are just games there for entertainment. And if I had to rate POTCO based on how entertaining it is, it gets a 10/10.

I realize how frustrating it must be on how limiting the game is to Basics. Trust me, I was Basic a few weeks ago, and I wanted to tear my hair out. But you need to take this from Disney's point of view - this game to them is a company. Company's make you money. And if you give basics more stuff... well, your losing money! Which is why many people see basic access as so limiting. This makes new pirates wanna experience all parts of the game. And when people get Unlimited, then Disney gets (you guessed it) money! I'm not saying I agree with this, you just gotta realize their stance on this argument. After all, if you only hear the Prosecution's testimony in a court case, and not the Defense's, chances are, you'll lean towards the Prosecution.

Back on topic... I'm excited to see how this is gonna work out.

I don't need ends on ends of clothing pieces, yet 3 pieces of clothing was kinda frustrating, especially when you have to sell one of your favorite pieces to buy something else. So I'd say 6 is a fair amount... well, at least, thats what I, a male player may say. Not so sure about the girls though

I'm actually glad they didn't have us do another quest. After all, after 2 sets of weapon quests, I'm sure they might run out of ideas by the 3rd. After all, its more exciting to be uncertain WHEN your gonna get your loot, other than just grinding through easy tasks (if your in the higher levels, at least.)

A higher gold cap? I can barely reach the current cap with all the spending I do! I think in order to increase the gold cap successfully, they need to add more stuff to actually spend it on - the ability to carry more ships (or even new ships, or customization ) new clothing, jewelry, etc. etc.

And lastly, I'm really excited that you'll actually be able to have different weapons than everybody else (especially that El Patron sword!) You know, it kinda gets drab and repetitive when every single level 45 has the same sword. With this new edition, it makes the game more exciting, more colorful. Now, you'll WANT to find those bigger and badder weapons (gotta catch em all!)

This update is definately going to have a HUGE impact on the game, PvE, PvP, and social-wise. No matter how it ends up working, I'm still looking foward to it

I had heard that Pirates had started this system during the summer, but the reason they didn't release was because of its higher levels. They were probably working on it to allow us more freedom with the update, and not have to mess with starting over. Sounds logical, but you know, Disney is (iREALLY!) slow at fixing, and making updates....

But I do believe this guy knows what he's saying, and he definitely knows what he wants. The gold is not really used for much more than a few select clothing items, and other items that your character can wear in the game. I would love to see new ships and ship parts that were promised before as well, but I would really like to buy more than a few weapons. Beyond buying ammo and your basic beginner weapons in the Gun Shop and Cutlass shop, there is just nothing more to see when you go into either one of the shops. The game has been rather, unsatisfying due to those points, but they will hopefully help to remedy this issue with the weapon shops.
