Why is the rule of must have open chat there? You realise people will want to join, but can't get open chat due to their parents or fears that they might say something accidentally, and then therefore cannot join clan, right? Just wondering.

We are very friendly, joking, and open with our members. We don't see ourself as much of a guild, but as such a community of friends. And as such, we don't want to go and create the hassles and frustrations of members who aren't able to join in all of the fun, due to their chat permissions. It just makes everything easier if all of our members are able to converse freely
