Undoubtedly the Grenades. My Lv50 Pirate's grenades are still Lv28, and, believe it or not, I have never mastered them. Not even when the max was Lv40/Lv25. Even now, I don't level them, but I find they do good damage, and are good for killing groups of enemies. They're just a pain to train ( No pun intended ).

....Let me add on to that:

4. Have a large range of explosion, and can damage you and mess you up.
5. If it does hit you as well, it can really do some serious damage, and leave the Grenade's effect.
6. The new version of the Grenades quest is tedious and annoying. I hate it, plain and simple. I miss the old quest ( And other quests - especially the Story Quests ).

Here are the good sides of Grenades, and the reasons why I LIKE them:

1. There's some thing with them where if you click the type of Grenade you are using, you skip reloading the Grenade.

2. They deal some good damage and have a wide explosive range.

3|A. Explosive, although very limited when first obtained, are good damage-doers.

3|B. Stink Pot is good for fishing up groups of enemies, although it can be risky with it's wide explosive range and the fact that it slows you down.

3|C. Fire Bomb's Burn effect is useful with the Wound effect Grenades have.

3|D. Smoke Screen isn't the most useful Grenade, is the choice of grenades because of how weak it is. However, it is very limited ( Being only 80 Smoke Bombs with the Large Pouch ), so it doesn't last forever. It also doesn't really lower the enemie's accuracy much ( But you can always assist it with Throw Dirt and Taunt - that will really lower the accuracy of your enemy ).

3|E. Siege Charge is the choice of Grenades if you want to kill a group of enemies quickly. It has a large explosive range, and is capable of dealing major damage to enemies ( I can kill a Lv50 Urchinfist/Thrall Captain in 4-5 Siege Charges ). However, it does serious damage to yourself if it detonates too close to your pirate - add that up with the Wound effect. Obviously, you don't want to use this Grenade for leveling.

So again, the Grenades are my least favorite weapon, but I still like them because of the damage they deal out.
