Not sure if it helps, but i notice the game process in task manager shows that its always running on one processor instead of 2, so i always had to set it to run on both processor so that the first doesnt over work.
That bug has existed for well over two years. I *normally* set affinity to use all processors.

The recent change, is that all CPU cores will now spin at 100% (previously, never more than 1 processor would ever max) but ONLY while the game locks up.

Today, for example, on open (live) servers, I'd get 2 seconds of "normal" game-play then a 5 to 10 second game freeze, then 1 or 2 second of normal game-play then a 5 to 10 second game freeze...

Disney is intentionally destroying the game. A malicious change of this magnitude could not possibly be accidental.

What was (two years ago) an elegant glitch-filled niche genre game, has become a lag-fest that very few computers on the planet are capable of running, with (comparatively) ugly graphics and all the original glitches intact (with new modified methods of performing each of them.)

With the new weapons system, all "questing" is now obsolete, converting the adventure-type game into a mere arcade-type game. (E.g. "Leadership" skill for completing the Black Pearl quest is now granted infinitely and effortlessly from a sea-scroll "dropped" by level 1 gravediggers.)

Why has Disney chosen to destroy this game? Are they canceling the next movie?
