I noticed this a while back, however, the way I did it has supposedly been fixed (I haven't tried). When you use the red voodoo doll (most commonly seen as the Wax doll), you would deal damage to other pirates. Upon attuning another pirate, you would also attune yourself. You don't get to heal yourself, rather, deal -1 damage to you and the one you attuned.
I'm not so sure that this was actually intended to be in. I get that it changes the name to "You", however it was never actually listed in the release notes, and it randomly happens now. It would still be nice to know how to use, and the healing/curing effects could come in handy
