Yes, I can imagine new players and some of the duller pirates bowing down before you, following you around, worshipping you etc.
I can hear them now.
"How may we show our devotion master?"
"Go forth and feed yourselves to the stumps of Outcast Isle."
"Yes master."
Then they all go and get themselves killed showing their obedience to their self-proclaimed 'deity'.
