I'd like to see muskets. That's appropriate for the time period, and we even see many Navy soldiers carrying them (though they never shoot).
Sorry that the Basic members feel at a bit of a disadvantage with some things. Guess that's what you get with a FREE game. If no one ever had to pay for anything, we wouldn't have the game at all.
