I looked this up online, and have a pretty good idea of the weapons commonly used by pirates which would be awesome to add:
1) Bow and Arrows, the last bow you receive being a crossbow.
2) Axes, since they as common as cutlasses when boarding ships.
Muskets and the rest of those weapons can be classified as guns, basically. They could probably be added to that same weapon class.
