Ahoy mates, ran across this nifty little trick the other day. Give it a try and let me know if it works for you.

Begin an attack on a voodoo enemy with your dagger. As we know, certain dagger attacks break voodoo attunement. All you need to do is use one--try throw dirt. Once you've done that, switch to sword.

NOW when you attack (at least for a while) you will hit several attacks that break attunement--with your sword! After enough time switch on back to dagger, toss some more dirt, switch back to sword and VOILA! More break attunement.
