Before I say anything else I want to point out that I don't worry about rep stealing and such on A servers in particular and busy servers in general. In busy areas it is unreasonable to expect an enemy all to yourself. On quiet servers its a whole different ballgame. If a person or a group of people go to the trouble of tpng to a quiet server and finding a place away from others to play maybe they don't want you imposing yourself on therm. That should be respected. There are always plenty of quiet servers in this game so there are plenty of enemies to go around. No need to horn in on enemies that others are fighting. So all my comments here are assuming that the players are on quiet servers.

The fact that this is a a massive multiplayer game is no excuse for disregarding the feelings and game experience of others, in fact it is all the more reason to do your best to be courteous and respectful of others and let them level without undermining their efforts. Whats so hard about asking to join in? Whats so hard about saying "I need to kill some enemies that are too tough for me to handle alone, would you help me?" And whats so hard about fighting your own enemies instead of forcing yourself on others? If you can't do these things then you are the one that needs to GET A SINGLE PLAYER GAME, not those of us who choose to help others get rep rather then steal it from them. In single player games you can attack any enemy you want without being a detriment to others' enjoyment of the game.

Just because someone likes to play solo from time to time doesn't mean that they don't like to play with others as well, but when and if they do want to play solo they have the right to do so and no one has the right to take that away from them.

We don't do that in our guild. If say a new member where to do that I or another officer would explain to them that they need to ask to tp to others and they should not attack an enemy some one else is fighting without asking. If they continue in this behavior then they leave the guild. No yelling needed.

No they shouldn't get mad, its a game, not worth it. Also if you don't know someone you should talk to them before imposing yourself on them just common sense and common courtesy.

Hate to spoil your Kumbaya moment but just because it is a multiplayer game doesn't mean that everyone is required to play with all other players at all times. Everyone is free to choose who they play with and no one is required to play with anyone else.
