I used to think the same thing till I went on DxD one day to look up my stats and found another pirate with my
EXACT same name. I've used the name Captain Grizzly Blackwater since Beta 1 and have had to get it approved in each stage of the game. Imagine my suprise when I found another one. I found out that there are no unique names. If someone wants to use the same name you have they only need to send it in and it will be approved more likely than not.
