Chapter 12
Sea Battle
6 o'clock in the morning I wake up, early enough to get ready for the journey ahead. As I grab me cutlass, I head out the door of my ship and already see Captain Del already out.
Yer up early Dog, looks like ye might be fit to fit in the crew. But the only reason I'd be here is that I'm lookin' for a crew, and can't see to find any today. Seems that the tide ain't going right for today.
As soon as he finish the word "today" a man with a grey beard and grey hair. He shouts:
Ah Delmaria! It's been to long! I haven't seen you in forever. How's the crew going for you, and I see you're still living after that fort infiltration.
Captain Del replies with:
Ah Francis, I am doing good. Getting a little rusty in a few bones, but I can manage. I see you comandeered a fine EITC Warlord right there, full with ammunition by the looks of it. Ye have any extra crew members with ye? Today's been a slow day and I can't seem to find any sort of willing pirates to hope aboard the Victory Shark.
Yes I do Delmaria, I shall send some right now, gimme a moment. Hey John! Get over here!
I see a shaggy man running right to the old man.
Get about 20 crew members to help Delmaria here with his ship, and hurry it up or you'll be facing the gallows!
Aye Captain!
Well Delmaria, seems I must go, I apologize but the time is right for me to leave, do not sink with me crew members, I value them. They are already at your ship, I'd hurry before they leave. Fair winds, Delmaria.

Let's go Dog, we don't have all day! Crew mates board me Victory Shark! Get the guns loaded and prepared for any battle! Potions Pirate put your cannoneer drafts into the cannons first! Hurry it up or the sharks will be finding a good meal today!!!
I see all the crew members running aboard, and I am shoved into the ship as well by probably Captain Del, and I hop aboard the ship getting ready. I see the crew members below loading the guns, along with the rest of Del's crew getting ready for battle with the upper cannons. The ship was a Ship of the Line, from where he got it I had no clue, but I had a feeling that the sails were torn off once.
Set sail mates!!!
The sail straps are let go and we are full steamed ahead heading straight to Tortuga. As I grab a cannon and start to load a cannon into it, it came natural as I was born with a talent to load a cannon. I place the cannonball inside, and then stuff it all inside, packed together tightly, ready for a sea battle. When I hear Captain Del shouting at me to come to him.
Dog, you're new so I must give you the speech, you listen to me, and you will listen to me. On MY Ship of the Line you shall listen, fire when I say fire, and broadside when I say broadside. Is that clear?
I nod.
Good, now then let's see how good you are with that cutlass of yours, in a flash he unsheathed his sword, revealing a nice, sharp sword, exactly like mine, and comes down to take a cleave on me.
Before he could do that I take a step to the right and dodge, unsheathe my sword and do an uppercut in his blade creating an arc above my head, crashing the blade into the wood causing it to get stuck. As I am about to disarm Cap'n Del, he kicks me right in the chest knocking me back into the railway behind me, and takes out his sword. Walking towards me and putting both hands on his hilt, getting ready for a final blow, before he could start to move this two hands in an arc I boost up both of my legs and kick him right in the stomach with both of my feet, crashing him into the wheel. And making him fall to his knees.
Hehe, you're good, you may not be the worst swordsman there is, you'll be fine aboard me ship for now, but let's see how you gun later.
I see Delpadros running up the steps of the Ship of the Line, and then he speaks:
Captain! An EITC Ship of the Line Treasure ship is reported on the starboard side! Shall we engage, the ship is alone as the other pirate ships are battling it out with a Tyrant.
Aye, Delpadros, shout it, we shall engage.
Delpadros then screams:
CREW!!!! Get ready for battle! Starboard side! Ship of the Line sighted starboard side! Get ready or ye won't be getting a share of the profits!
As the crewman run to their cannons, I see Del pointing to my cannon, and I run off there.
The EITC Ship is getting closer, and closer and closer until it's only a minute away, I hear a shout,
Fire on my command!
As I get me gunpowder lighter ready, I have it lit and get it ready to fire away with the cannon. As we see the ship of the line, it's massive, and almost as big as ours, but ours was a little bigger, and had bigger cannons as well. And then we are suddenly right next to it, and I lose all feeling, the feeling that these people, killed my father, I wanted revenge, but I couldn't move either, it was like I was paralyzed when all of a sudden....
NOW! OPEN FIRE!!! RELEASE ALL GUNS, BROADSIDE STARBOARD!!!
When his last word was ended, I had lit the gunpowder and 3 seconds after that, the guns shot blasting into the ship, what I noticed is that everybody shot in unision surprising for a bunch of pirates that can't stand on their two feet after drinking a bottle of rum.
I hear the crashing of cannonballs into wood right into the ship, and hear an explosion right in the distance, a cannonball had shot right into a gunpowder barrel causing a massive explosion damaging the ships, and released all the cannons to go hectic in the ship running around everywhere, that much weight running around made the ship unstable, causing it to be unable to fight.
Now mates! Shoot the grappling hooks and get the wooden boards, prepare for battle! Do not let them escape!
As the planks are set, and the grappling hooks too, along with the ropes, we board the ship and see about 50 EITC Assassins on board.
But for some reason, right when we hit the deck they all just magically died, it was like a miracle. As we board the ship back nobody question it, and I see about 10 crew members holding a fancy chest, a Loot Skull Chest but only bigger than the one I found from the Graveyard at Port Royal.
Captain Del then yells:
Ya'll shall get your share right when we dock which is only a few minutes away, you will get random treasures, whether good or bad I don't know and get your profit of gold. Ye did good, but don't think I'll go easy on you next time.
Minutes later we dock, and I'm headed a sheathe, what's in it I don't know, I know that everybody gets one, whether good or bad I have no idea. As I unsheathe it, a stroke of black waves follow it, the sword had power, I could feel it flow down my veins, and then Captain Del walks over saying,
Just got word, Jack's here, but he's trapped in Thieve's Den, we'll raid tomorrow, get ready and nice Black Shark Blade ye got there, best weapon I think is out there, than that cruddy old El Patron sword. Report here 7 sharp, or you'll be left here.
