Ahoy, ye scurvy dogs!

Joan Keelbane is my name in game. I'm currently level 12 notoriety. I just bought a Frigate! What a wonderful ship. Now I've just got to find a crew to man her.
Which brings me to a question I have for anybody who reads this. I've not had a lot of luck with guilds. I've been invited to join several, but they've all been pretty small and I've not got much response from them when I've tried chatting.
Here's what I'm looking for. I'd like a larger guild with a diverse membership. When I'm in the mood, I'd like to request crew from my guild or request to join an existing guild crew and actually get a response. I love sailing with a crew and have, mostly, recruited by standing on the beach and asking for crew.
I'd like to be part of a guild that could more reliably provide crew. I like newbies and experienced crew alike and am willing to steer or cannon and try to help others with their quest objectives. I don't care if people are unlimited or free members. I mainly want people to help me take down larger and larger ships!
A bit about me. I'm a parent of two young 'uns and am in the Mountain time zone in the US. So I usually play from 7 or 8 pm till 10 Mountain time. I quest mainly when nobody else is around, but I love sailing and crewing and taking down ships!
So, is the best place to find a good guild on the Disney pages (which didn't seem very useful to me) or here or somewhere else?
