Either way, members should respect veterans as well, as both officers and veterans should enforce rules. The veteran rank is a good way to teach members the way of an officer, so some guilds may use this as an "officer-in-training" thing. I don't believe everyone should be a veteran, though. Then anyone could guild anyone, and behavior goes unchecked for members, causing problems for the guild. All guilds will use the veteran rank in a different way, though.

I agree Slouyx. Level should have nothing to do with rank. Nor their history in other guilds. No matter who you are, you will have to through the process like anyone else. Even if Eric McRage joins my guild (never gonna happen, just using him cuz everyone knows McRaging is just about the biggest guild in the game.) I wouldn't make him a veteran/officer immediately. (No offense mate, I look up to you, just saying that nobody avoids the process I go through no matter who you are). I have made level 15s officers because they really deserved it.I also agree with your other thoughts Slouyx.
