Mission 28 ~ Magic Pants!
Leanne glazes her eyes over the stained loads of papers that crunch delicately under her grip. "I knew it was true!"
You step forward eagerly, wanting to know what she saw on the lines. "What is it?"
"The rumors I heard of they pants... they are true!
The pants were worn by Bloodskull on his last trip to Padres, which was forged originally as a colony under his tyrannical grip. While he was here, the town revolted against him and his soldiers, in a last ditch effort to gain their independence.
Every day, while riots and outbreaks of violence moved across the island, he was subject to numerous assassination attempts by a few of the rebellers. Often, he would have to change his entire appearence to move from one building to another, without being shot at. On a particular movement, he was outside the Skull's Thunder with a few of his higher Officers, when a lone spiner hiding on a cliff above him on the volcano shot down at him. The bullet pierced his leg, bleeding out wildly.
To prevent him from dying, his most loyal soldiers ferried him over to a local gypsy, who was forced in to treating him. Along with healing the wound, she enchanted his pants, allowing him to be able to run distances faster than the fastest dog or horse alike.
Unfortunately, his pants were left behind on accident as he left Padres. After his death, it is rumored every night, his pants come to life, and challenge any opposers at the docks to a race. Whoever can beat it in a race.. wins the pants."
Objective: Beat the pants in a three lap race around Padres, on the course shown below.
