The Rock is Moved

“HIT THE FLOOR!” Said Delmaria.
Several men burst into the tavern, with guns a-blazing, shouting and cursing out Delmaria’s crew, mighty as it was.
“What the hell is going on?!” Asked Jack.
Del, who was ducked under one of the table, loaded up his pistol and shot at a man before answering. “If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you’d set this up to ambush me.”
“Sure, blame the zombie.”
“The WHAT?!”
“Long story!” Said Jack, throwing a knife in the direction of the attackers. One of the assassins caught it neatly in their left half of the chest. When they saw Jack’s head popping up, the shooting stopped. Jack gave a wry smile in their direction. One of them utter something in Spanish that sounded… surprised. And Quite fearful. Jack, of course, spoke Spanish and said something back that didn’t sound too kind. The would-be assassins ran as fast as their legs would carry them out the door. All but one.
“Just because you’re a dead man doesn’t mean I can’t kill you, Diablo.” Spat the remaining attacker.
“Delp-“ Said Del.
He would have had more time to say something… but the assassin was already gone. Leaving a grenade where he once stood.
“Uh oh.” Said Del and Jack in Unison.
Boom.

One hour later…
Jack was stirring. His hands had been bound. And his sense of gravity was acting up. He missed this feeling. He wondered why he hadn’t done this in so long. He wondered why he hadn’t done anything in so long. Little did he know that his questions would all soon be answered.
Moments later, a man burst into the room. Jack looked around and just noticed that this was likely the captains quarters. Why had he not simply been thrown in the brig? The man walked up to Jack and put a pistol to his forehead. “Alright, Jack, you have ten seconds to explain what the HELL happened to you before I send you back to the locker myself.”
Jack didn’t panic. “I don’t remember.”
“Oh, ye don’t remember?”
“No… Not a thing.”
Del looked Confused. He was used to Jacks swarthy lies, and trickery, but he sensed a bit of truth in Jack. Which put him off a pit. He lowered the pistol, but still ready to pull it on Jack at any moment.
“Nothing? What was your last memory.”
Jack struggled to recollect back. “There was the three of us… Savvy had recently died… We’re all on the Shark… And Swash, he was there… and your Kid, Delpardos, or whatever his name was, he was there… There was a battle going on. A big one. And I don’t know who’s side I was on, I just know that I was losing. Swash was impaled with a sword. Delpardos was nowhere to be found. I… I was on the ground. You had me at swordpoint… you called me a traitor, a liar, and a scoundrel. And I attempted to disarm you. I then remember falling. And… and that’s it.”
Del didn’t say anything. There was a long pause. “You died that day.”
“…What…” said Jack.
“You died that day.” Repeated Del.
“How do you Know?”
“Because I killed you, Damn it.”
