I believed that the Kraken would come for a long time, but right now I'm pretty sure it's never coming. I don't think they ever got it to work is why, but I'm not edumacated in the subject, so I won't say more on it.
Next updates I think are the new Ships (Ship of the Line, etc.), and hopefully a trading system. Then again, you never know what the mouse will put out next.
