my opinion of stowaways is this:
in real life, there were stowaways....for whatever reasons they had, they showed up, were never wanted and usually caused trouble....thus we have the same problem with stowaways.
Walk the plank is an excellent solution....and marooning them as well... but what I think would be sterling to add as well is a brig on the ship to lock them into until such a time we can do one or the other !!
