Del, this version of the story is 100% correct. I am a witness, and until the person started getting offensive, you handled yourself perfectly, AND you were on the correct side.
I, for one, do not believe that you have anything to be guilty of. You did the right thing.
I am very sorry that this happened. We all know that this should not happen.
