8800GT 512 (G92). -Its going to be something like 280$ and according to all reviews I find it is barely a step below the ultra/gtx of current design. If i was going to spend the money and get a single card id hold out for GTX series or wait for 88xx it should be falling under 300 soon.
(yes i know its worth 400+ but the gtx prices have ben falling steady.)
so thats why i spend 70 bucks a peice and run two...
The 8800 GTX is still the fastest card. It's just that the number of stream processors make a much bigger impact on performance than width of the memory bus, especially on the 8800's which already have alot of bandwidth.
... i really got to get around to building that new case MORE COLD AIR!
