Cool. Yah, the prices on all of the 88xx Gxx cards will be dropping since the 9xxx cards are just around the corner with DX10.1 and whatnot... And yah, if you've got the extra cash to drop for GTX's, by all means, go with that, but most of us don't. Though I bet we wish we did! lol

Anyway, it's an awesome technology, but it's not perfect...yet. Look at benchmarks for SLi enabled games. From what I've seen, you're only looking at a 10-15 FPS increase AT MOST for another $250-$400. Not QUITE worth it to me.

The 8800 GTX is still the fastest card. It's just that the number of stream processors make a much bigger impact on performance than width of the memory bus, especially on the 8800's which already have alot of bandwidth.
