No guild name is ever a bad guild name, unless it is truly bad (i.e. inappropiate.)

What they are trying to suggest is choose a guild name that will fit the purpose of the guild. While all appropiate guild names are never really "bad," a guild name might be bad for the category of players you are trying to attract. For example, naming a hardcore PvP guild "Fudge Muffins Hooray" isn't exactly going to fit the bill.

Naming a guild is tricky. It has to both reflect you and your guild as what they are, while not DIRECTLY reflecting your guild (try to avoid naming your guild after yourself, like "Dog's Guild," "Dog's Pirates," etc. It tends to be a turn-off for many pirates.) I guess I kinda got the lucky end of the stick, seeing as my goal for naming my guild was just to make it as close to the old guild's name as possible.

Just ask yourself when naming a guild:

1. Who am I?
2. What should my guild stand for?
3. What kind of players do I want to attract?
4. How will my guild be presented?

Following that, you'll get a good idea of what you want to name your guild.

Of course, worst comes to worse, find a dictionary, tear out all the pages, and throw darts to see what words they land on. Not usually a preferred method, however, because I'm sure nobody wants to name their guild "Dissected Stretcher Requiem."
