Great ideas Davy. :] I think the Hall of Fame rank would be a great addition. It would hold the worthy guild contributors in high regard without essentially taking away all their power; it's similar to emeriti. Sadly, though, you're right. For most guilds, they'll just promote someone to the HOF based on: "Oh, this person's nice." "This one hasn't been a long-time member, but she's friendly and active." "THIS GUY'S FUNNY, lulz."
I like how the Co-GM rank doesn't have unlimited power... 'cause... you know... oh wait... you never know. But, I don't think the number of Co-GM's should be limited. Some guilds were created with a high number of founders, and some other guilds have probably met a lot of capable people along the way who they think could do the job and do it well. If the number was limited, let's say a guild has 6 Co-GM's already. The guild has a great structure and the rank of Co-GM is extremely hard to attain. A 7th potential Co-GM candidate comes along, and it turns out, they can't be promoted because of the limit that's placed. I agree that the Sr. Officer number should be lower than the Officer number, but having a limit on the Co-GM rank would just prevent any new candidates from advancing further in the guild.
