Not necessarily.
All memberships are paid through credit cards, with 3 subscription options: Once a Month, Once Ever 6 Months, and Once Every Year. For math's sake, we'll use your number of 700k, and the options are divided evenly amongst these subscribers. That means there is about 233,333 people per subscription option.
For all of those that have the monthly $10 subscription, that would mean $2,333,333.30 of income for POTCO. For the semi-annuals, that means $11,666,650.00, and for annuals, that would mean $18,666,640.00. Over the course of a year, the monthly's would amount to $27,999,999.60 a year, and for the semi's, that would mean $23,333,300.00. Adding up all net totals together would make a yearly net income for the game at $69,999,939.00.
Now, before you all scream "Money hoggers!," this is where other interests come in.
We need to factor in to that net pay all sorts of deductions: state taxes, federal taxes, taxes by the credit card companies, money for keeping the servers open, money for designating space for the site, taxes on both of those, collections by corporate Disney, and probably dozens of other things I can't name off the top of my head. Taxes are
EVERYWHERE!
Taking all of that in to account, you would realize the budget for this game, when factoring in paying for the developers, is ALOT lower than most games. Also, I noticed a lot of you are screaming "Disney has a bazillion dollars!" Yes, Disney as an overall empire does, but you need to realize corporate Disney couldn't care less about funding this game, when they had television networks and theme parks to run.
In terms of staying with the game, even if I didn't have all my amazing guild members and friends (and fans

) I would probably still be here, just because 1. The imagination is a wonderful thing, and 2. With the amount of updates Disney has been pumping out in comparison to 2008, you can't say they're being slow.
