How about a mini-game once you've cleared a flag ship? It would show the cargo hold and once you complete the mini-task, then whatever treasure you uncover is added to the take. So, it would inspire people to bring larger crews so there would be a higher take.
And treasure sense would effect what you found.
Just a thought.
