I have proved this! I have an unlimited and a basic account. My unlimited person is lv 38: 2 famed, 1 of them cursed Doom Stinger. My basic person is lv 34, never got to do the El Patron Quest bc it wasnt out the last time I had unlimited on him: TWENTY-FOUR FAMED (36 if u count trashed) NONE of them are cursed.
P.S. Downside for basics: Lower chance of finding legendary.

I agree with you..I have a friend who is basic, he's
a level 44 basic. He's got over 30 famed, and two legendary.
