^Rose - Though I am unsure about the others here in the thread - before I ask the pirate anything I ask the others on the boat "does anyone know X?" - if one say "yep - he/she is on my friends list / a fellow guilder" then the only think I do is say "Thanks Y - plase don't take the wheel as we are doing Z" and carry on... And I've never had a problem In these cases I think they are just happy to be docking with some RC's and a few I've even friended over time...

My actions of Reporting are a last resort - after I've checked the boat and then asked the intruder to leave the ship (unless I just seen them sail up and use the TP bug directly - then I go to stage two - and evn then I give plenty of time with three warnings...)

I also think we all know a hijacker's steps vs a friends TP or even one who is polite - within 30 seconds a hijacker boards - takes the wheel - you kick him off - he grabs a cannon and starts shooting the Jugger - you turn the boat and hit full sail to try and save it while trying to 'tag' him to give him/her the warning... any TP friend usually introduces themselves first before doing anything, ask permission before gunning or taking the wheel, all signals that they are no hijacker (And since we are a gabby guild - we usually stand for the next five minues and talk shop and gossip LOL)

And I think that in general is the way everyone in this thread thinks to a degree - if we just had an option to remove the player off the ship I would be fine with it Reporting is a 'major' resolution and none of us are head-hunters... but with no 'middle of the road' solution - its ask first - then off you go...
