Let's think of it this way. Say, Disney gave out a code that gave everybody a Famed Weapon, a Cutlass with 80 attack, and no level restrictions. You now have an army of low leveled Unlimited Access members running around with a weapon grossly overpowered for their level, making the game laughably easy for them for a majority of their 10s, 20s, and probably far in to the 30s. As for gold, it would be the same thing. You'll have an army of level 5's walking around in bling and rich robes, not because they can boast their exploits, but because they were privileged enough to join the game at the right moment. So, Disney had to go with either making the benefits nice for some, or making the game easy for all. Which would be smarter?
