My suggestion for ranking up on SvS Infamy is stcking to a cannon, and getting your ship and your crew to sit on the side of a large fray (monster battles on Andaba = beautiful.) Try to get a hit on every enemy ship at least once, as even getting just one shot on it may get you a few points. Just remember, the more damage you do, the better you get. As such, I suggest using Fury mixed with maxed Rapid Reload and the other passive skills for cannon, and maybe even a Gunner's Ram in the mix.
Of course, always remember that you need to contribute to your team as much as you are to yourself. Taking a few shots on an enemy ship and running away isn't exactly honorable - and your rank is nothing if you haven't earned it fair and square, aye?
