The lag is the same on my son's computer on Unlimited as it was when I was a Basic beta member. We are on a wireless internet connection on that one, so I'm betting that has a lot to do with it, as the computer has pretty good specs to it.
Our downstairs computer has very little lag, if any. The internet connection is wired here. The computer has better specs than the upstairs computer, but I still think that the wired vs. wireless connection has the most to do with the lag.

I play solely on a wireless and typically do not receive lag. I say typically because once in a while there is lag just like wired computers will have. I do play only on quiet servers.
