My war frigate, with max LP and hull shield, was sunk in svs bar a war sloop in 3 seconds (didnt even have time to hit cover) If we extrapolate that, a SOTL have twice the LP, so should take some 6 seconds to sink.
I was wondering myself if they hacked, so I did some calculations (didnt have a piece of paper with me, so just going to type ot on here lol.
Average Fury hits around 500-600/hit (provided hull shield is down and that I remember correctly). A ram with fury boosts can boost that to around 700. 3 shots per load and 4 gunners. 700x3x4 = 8400 / around 2 seconds to fire. 20000/4200 = 4.7 seconds.
In other words, it takes 4.7 seconds for a War sloop with 4 max fury gunners to sink SOTL.. lol

Like Mason said, you very much underestimated the hull panel strength. If taking down a Ship of the Line in SVS were this easy, no one would have a problem with a Fleet Ship of the Line, which has the same amount of hull panel strength (or close to it). Not saying that the HP is the same, though....
My estimation, though, is that it would take a whole 125 Rank 5 Fury Shots and then some to take down a whole Ship of the Line panel. But I've never had the chance to test this. But knowing what a Fleet Ship of the Line's hull panels are like, I'd say that's a half-decent estimation... You can work along from there.
