Isla de los Misterios
Surrounded by rocks and hidden to those who wish to see it. At the edge of the earth, the location unknown to civilization. Just the look of it seems evil, and few claim to have seen it. Rumors of deadly forces that seem out of this world. They fear just the name of this horrible place. Some say it's the lair of Jolly Roger himself. Some think it's something far more evil. The truth? It's much worse than that. Something far more powerful than Jolly Roger, or Davy Jones. They say it's controlled only by the power of the gods. Ancient tribes used to live there, and they worshipped these gods. They were said to have been given protection by them. This was how they managed to sail there. But those tribes no longer exist. Or do they?
Located many miles South of Padres Del Fuego, this island is notorious for being hard to find. Anyone who ventures out looking is never seen again. The journey is said to take months. People joke about it all the time, telling their friends that they're planning on searching for Isla de los Misterios. Many claim to have seen it, but they always change the story and tell different stories. Some claim it's ruled by some kind of wild monsters. Many believe that the island has a mind of it's own, only showing itself when it wants to be seen. Others say that if anyone gets close, they are swallowed whole by sea monsters who guard the island. Very few, however, know the truth.
The island would be shaped like a large, thick J. Surrounding the entire island would be rocky beaches. The beaches themselves would be peaceful, and have small huts lining the shore. They would be inhabited by a friendly tribe, the Mensajeros de la Paz. They welcome all to their island, and often give gifts to anyone who has made it to this strange island. They are at war with the Reglas del Caos. They are an evil tribe, living at the tops of mountains, and in man made caves beneath them. These mountains are all over the very bottom of the J of the island. Instead of living in huts, they live in normal, more advanced houses, but there are fewer of them and more people living in each. None of them trust each other. They know that everyone in their tribe is evil, and may attack at any time. The leaders are cruel, forcing the tribe members to begin fighting at only the age of 12 years old. They are well taught and a tough army. But they lack team work. That is the only reason why they haven't taken over the island completely yet. But it's coming close. The Mensajeros de la Paz are becoming weak, and are losing the war. They need your help to stop the Reglas del Caos.
The rest of the island would be mostly jungle, on the inside of the straight part of the J. Towards the top would be a hidden temple. It would be falling apart and carved out of a mountain. Ancient rituals used to take place there every day, but it had been abandoned once the war started. The jungle would be fairly simple, but with new types of enemies. These enemies would be godly versions of the originals. They would be Godly Stumps, Godly Scorpions, Godly Wasps, and so on. They would each have a boss, call the God of _____. The blank would be filled with whatever animal they are.
Once you feel you want to go back to the safety of a civilized island, the friendly tribe will definitely let you use their teleportation totems. You would find yourself back in Padres Del Fuego, with no memory of the island at all. Those who make it to the island may never tell the secrets of Isla de los Misterios.
