Chapter 7: Isla Cruces
“Captain, it looks like a storm is coming!” reported Roger. “We should steer clear of it.”

Christopher looked at the storm; it was getting closer and even bigger.

“Aye Roger, but that’s the only direction we can go. Unless…”

“Unless what?”Roger asked

“Unless we head toward Isla Cruces” said Christopher.

“You know this place?” asked Roger.

Roger didn’t know what or where Isla Cruces was. He had no idea what was there or even if people were there.

“Stories. Isla Cruces. The Church came to the island, and brought salvation… and disease… and death. They say that a priest had to bury everyone, one by one, He went mad and hung himself” responded Christopher.

"Better mad with the rest of the world than sane alone." responded Roger.

As they approached Isla Cruces, they saw that the fog was rolling in, the clouds became darker.

“Be ready” Christopher warned, “There may be company awaiting us”

“Alright”

“Ok, follow me” ordered Christopher.

They walked through the sandy beach and saw the Church.

“So this is what you were talking about?” asked Roger.

“Aye, watch out, you can easily fall inside the graves.” warned Chris

As they were going to enter the church, Roger saw that someone was inside. Christopher pulled him aside to the wall and peeked inside to see who it was.

“It’s them” Christopher said.

“Who?” Roger asked

“Davy Jones.”

Chapter 8: The Battle
“What do you suppose we do?” asked Roger.

“Fight, of course” responded Christopher.

Christopher silently pulled out a hatchet.

“Here, you throw this in the spineskull’s back and I’ll stab him” ordered Christopher.

“Ready? Wait... NOW!” Yelled Christopher

Roger threw the hatchet in the spineskull’s back at the same moment Christopher stabbed him. Christopher looked to his right and saw a crew of Davy Jones’ henchmen. Roger knew he had to help, he reached into his pocket and grabbed a small smoke grenade. It may have been small, but it would do. Christopher saw the grenade roll on the floor, he quickly jumped through the door and drew his sword.

“Maybe you could’ve warned me before you threw that?” said Christopher

“At least I saved your life” said Christopher.

“YOU? Saved MY life? I was fine until some smoke grenade landed in front of me.” Responded Christopher.

“You aren’t saved yet…” said a unknown voice.

“What? Who said that?” asked Roger.

“Me, Davy Jones” said Jones.

Chapter 9: Death
“I have come for revenge” said Jones.

“What is he talking about?” asked Roger.

“Nothing” replied Christopher.

“Jones, Davy Jones, how about I give you a shiny penny and a new assistant?” whispered Christopher to Jones.

“Him? He’s nothing compared to you!” Yelled Jones.

“Are you guys talking about me?” asked Roger.

“Quiet boy” ordered Christopher.

Davy pushed Christopher and Roger to the ground. Roger felt something hard under his elbow, he dug it out. Meanwhile, Christopher jumped up to his feet and drew his sword.

“Ching, Ding, Chang!” they vigorously fought but never hit. Jones grabbed Christopher’s arm with his claw.

“AHHHHHHHHHHH!” Christopher yelled.

Christopher dropped to the floor in pain.

“Heh, heh, heh.” Said Jones, “Time for you to die”

Right when Jones was going to stab Chris, he stopped. Then Christopher looked over at Roger. He stabbed the heart. Jones fell to the floor.

“Thank you, Roger” said Christopher

“You’re welcome, captain” said Roger.

“Chris, just call me Chris.”
