Skill General Knowledge Thread
Ah, yes: I'd like to have this thread get stickied. I just want to have a thread that shows what change occurs for every single point invested in any single skill point. No opinions are to be deposited in this main post. Information and opinion are to be placed in a later post by anyone other than me, with the main being constantly updated. Now, with no further adu:
Notoriety
Your only visible "level" as a pirate, and the only possible way to gauge anothers strength with a minimal accessment. New treasures, teleportation totems, and weapons become available every few levels, increasing your pocket fund size, ability to move, and arsenal.
Gains per level: /hp, /voodoo / Total: /hp, /voodoo
Notoriety Unlocks-
~Lv. 5: Voodoo Doll (for members)
~Lv. 10: Dagger (for members; free members stop gaining noto at this point)
~Lv. 20: Grenades
~Lv. 21: Navy Medallions (treasure)
~Lv. 30: Voodoo Staff

The Cutlass
The basic weapon that is also the easiest to use. You just hack, slash, cleave, flourish, thrust, sweep, brawl, taunt, and storm away with the blade. Attacking begins with a simple hack. You elevate up the hits by attacking again at approximately the end of the swing, taking you to the next unlocked hit available. An expert can use a combat move as a replacement for hack, though I generally tack them on at the end of the combo. They can, of course, just be applied without tacking them into a combo.
