That's because you're using the game's built-in screenshot capture system.
It will always take a full, solid screenshot of the game screen without the bars because the application was designed to only snap whatever the graphics card is rendering.
In order to take a screenshot of the entire screen with the black bars/borders:
1) Find the key (
Print Screen or PRTSC ). Press that key once with the pirates application open to the small screen with borders/bars. Follow the "
Note:" below.
Note: If your keyboard has a (
Fn ) key, then you may need to press (
Fn + Print Screen/PRTSC ) keys together for the computer to take the screenshot.
2) After you've pressed the key(s), minimize the pirates game and open up the application called (
Paint ) found in Windows.
3) With (
Paint ) opened up, press the keys (
Ctrl+V ) after clicking the white space in the program with the mouse.
4) You should have a screenshot of the game including the black borders/bars. Save the image, and upload it here.
