If you want proof that the manager of Member Services do e-mail players based on major frustration, here is the e-mail they sent me on the issue of cheaters not getting banned when they constantly exploit in PvP modes:

Quote:
Hi (My name),

We hear you loud and clear and share your concern and frustration. I want to reassure you that we indeed very much take every report of offending chat or inappropriate behavior in Pirates Online very seriously.

Much of this is invisible to players so as not to disrupt any other Pirate's enjoyment of Pirates Online, but I can assure you that no player is legitimately in game with 100-plus player reports. We do look into these instances with all due diligence and take action when necessary to keep our game safe, fair and fun for everyone.

To answer your points, yes unfortunately there are programming glitches that occur anytime a game is developed on such a large scale and some individuals in that expansive audience may try to take advantage. Although we're very clear that glitches using third-party software are not allowed in Pirates Online, some players will continue to exploit these glitches while we work to fix them. While the fix may not be a quick and easy one, we do ask concerned Pirates like yourself to continue to use the "Report A Player" function, whether you see a player using a glitch or even chatting about it in-game. In the meantime, we sincerely apologize for the obvious frustration or inconvenience these incidents have caused you. Thank you again for the level of concern you show with this issue. By taking the proper steps to report any future cases thoroughly and with full details, it allows us to take prompt action.

When it comes to your fellow Pirates who may use these glitches, we're happy to hear you're staying true to the code as well as your own convictions. Thanks for your continuing support of Pirates Online and our Community. It's Pirates like you who keep the Caribbean a fair and fun place to play.

You're clearly a fair-minded Pirate and we very much appreciate your concern regarding inappropriate behavior in Pirates Online.

After complaining multiple times, I finally reached a e-mail by someone of higher position. It isn't as much as a problem as before, but it still need works.

That said, they rarely have the manager type e-mails to players unless someone is really wrong.
