This Friday night Del is going out to see a play, but that isn't stopping me from running crew nights - in fact, it's INSPIRED me!
Delmaria is quite the fan of theatrics, you see. Whether it's preforming an impromptu show dressed as my alter ego in front of my entire friends and family, or overreacting illness to give myself a "day off," Del considers himself a practiced actor without ever stepping foot in a theater! Of course, I have always wanted to pursue a side career in acting, but I never really thought about how to go about it... but, we all got to start somewhere!
Inspired by the show that I will be seeing on Friday night, at this week's crew nights, the Delmaria Darkskull Starving Pirate Actors Theater presents:
SWEATY TODD
THE DEMON BARBER OF PORT ROYAL
Attend the tale of Sweaty Todd,
His skin was greasy and his hair was flogged,
He shaved the faces of pirate kin,
As beads of sweet rolled down his chin!
He kept a shop in Port Royal's town,
To and from it he would waddle around,
The girls and boys who caught his eye,
Say he carried along a box of pies!
But something changed in his head,
A twist of fate his clients would dread,
For Sweaty turned upon the town,
And used his razor for acts dreadfound!
The blood dripped down from his blade,
As one by one his sanity fade,
And though his sweat rolled through the streets,
There was blood as well drowning his feet!
Sweaty was tried and found of guilt,
And now he waits death for the throats his slit,
But the story is missing, it's not done you see;
That role is left for you and for me!
