I disagree with that. In the drudgery of getting through the 40's I have been "working" a lot in Isla Tormenta. I have picked up 4-5 Spineskull Blades, all of which I have sold because I already have better weapons. In fact, I have sold off better weapons.
Why give away good weapons? I think people don't appreciate things of value unless they earn them.
My point is I was carrying around 4 rare/famed/cursed swords at one point, which is ridiculous. I think there are too many top-notch weapons available just for the finding. So far I have been given several weapons quests, and each time the "fantastic" weapon I have earned is not as good as what I already have. This is disappointing. I think what I earn should be better than what I just happen to pick up.
