It's having a great video card. You can have a lot of RAM and great sound with that new desktop or laptop, but without that great ATI or nVidia video card, you got nothing.
Some of those cards require OpenGL. The best is x9. I use it for my ATI card. One of these days I'll switch comps and start using that new nVidia to play pirates with. When I do, I'll have to find the right settings for it. lol
