Just a note here to let people who are interested know that I have updated the list of minor quests at the beginning of this thread.
I found some that were new to me, and also discovered the level required for some others.
I have discovered that some of them are not dependent upon what level you are at but what level one of your weapons are at, so I marked the weapon as part of the level required.
I still don't know what it takes to activate the quests for the various trainers around the islands. I've never got one from any of them yet.
