I absolutely detest the new ship AI. They need to seriously adjust this. Now you can just sail in circles, firing your broadsides, and never get hit by theirs.
I understand trying to make the game easier for lower players, but any ship, L15 and over, should have some clue on sailing. Let the newer players farm Driftwood and Anvil, save Padres Bay for the rest of us at least.
