Not at all. No one who repairs are ever considered worthless and you know that. I know I've done my fair share of them. This contest, did not permit us that luxury to repair because, like SvS, it's a waste of time. Just gun, gun, gun until you sink, or in the case of this contest, port. We ported when we had to and simply launched the next ship. If it took a while for our ship to reach the next Navy target, then the gunner(s) would squeeze in a round of repairs.

When I saw others sailing their ships, it appears they were doing the same thing: gun, gun, gun until you have to port. I'm sure Captain Gunrose, like any good captain, appreciates what you did for him and he is incensed that you didn't get the credit.
