In all my times as a pirate - in all I've done - I never got the chance to say hello or goodbye to someone all pirates look up to. He passed on through the game far before I got more involved in the pirating community, so I figured I would never get to see him.
But tonight I got a nice little piece of closure. On one of the last nights of the game, I went to a "little" pirate gathering known as Dread Pirate Robert's Story Time, which I've never had the pleasure of going to. Ironically it was said this very same person had made a reappearance only to leave before I logged on, but I'd figure to pop in to see a few old faces, and even through all the lag it was very much worth it. However, as everyone was celebrating and enjoying their time, I got this little gem that I find a nice, simple quote to wrap it all up:
