The Run and attune is a skill to be acquired. It takes timing and aim. Practice a bit on the lvl 1 skellys at first. I dont know if its a glitch or not. Sometimes a higher lvl enemy will "miss" when attuning them, just try again. I know when I have skill points in block incoming voodoo, my friends cant attune me every time.
