Try the whisper when that happens, if nothing else, to let them know you're having issues and that you'll either brb or have to whisper everything.

I tried the whisper just now and the person I was speaking to seemed not to be getting the message, either that or he just wasn't "getting the message"
LOL He wanted to join my guild, which really isn't a guild, just a name I gave myself. . . . . and I was trying to politely tell him that. . . . maybe he just wasn't taking no for an answer, dunno.
It is frustrating. I never know if what I say is getting through, funny thing even when I see the bubble, sometimes it seems like nobody else can! They really should fix this.
